Gabrielle, a Miami native, received her bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from the Dedman School of Hospitality at Florida State University. She began her career in hotel management at several properties with the world’s largest hotel company, Marriott International. Her hands on experience in event and food & beverage operations laid the foundation for her expertise in event planning. After several years in event operations in hotels, she began planning corporate events as a Global Marketing Events Manager for the Publications division of a non-profit, the American Chemical Society. With her experience, Gabrielle’s passion for events grew along with her entrepreneurial spirit, resulting in the birth of G. Hicks Events.

 

G. Hicks Events was founded to offer professional, hassle-free planning services to individuals and small businesses that would like to host an event and could benefit from having an industry expert to help them navigate through the planning process.  From concept to execution, G. Hicks Events prides itself on taking the stress out of planning and advocating on behalf of our clients to make sure that not only are we providing exceptional customer service, but also ensuring quality, affordability, and great customer service from all parties involved in making your event a success. We sincerely believe that we provide proper planning and exemplary execution. From a private dinner party to a multi-day corporate meeting, G. Hicks Events can take care of all of your social and corporate event planning needs.  Gabrielle is  also an  accredited event designer through the Institute of Wedding & Event Design.
